Support LPC

It is our hope and prayer that you will consider how you might 'participate' with us in the 'restoration' of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Below are several links to resources that will give you objective insight into this ministry and it's impact on the families of the Bay-Waveland area. Please consider how God might be calling you to be part of this ministry!

Steve Brown, Etc.

This is an interview that Steve did with Jean & Curt in September of 2008. What is Steve Brown, etc.? This is the self-definition found on their website: "Steve Brown - noun, 1. a talk-show host, author of numerous books, seminary professor, and much-in-demand speaker.

etcetera - noun, pl., -ras., 1. a number of other things or persons unspecified. 2. and others; and so forth; and so on (used to indicate that more of the same sort or class might have been mentioned). 3. etceteras, extras or sundries. Abbr.: etc. [< Latin, "and the rest"]

Love him or hate him, Steve Brown always draws a crowd. Over the past 22 years, as founder and president of Key Life Network, Steve's unique blend of orthodoxy and controversy, humor and profundity, and a refusal to play religious games, has attracted some interesting folks. Steve Brown Etc. is a place where you can hang out with Steve "and the rest" and experience radical freedom, infectious joy and maybe even a bit of surprising faithfulness."

By Faith Magazine

(Entire article on Lagniappe available in PDF form below)

LPC was featured in "By Faith" magazine in April of 2006. ByFaith is published to keep you better connected with people and churches throughout the PCA. We hope to sharpen one another with our scholarship as well as our stories. And we hope to spur one another on to love and good deeds.

MNA Article about Richard & Barbara Warner

Our denomination does a quarterly newsletter talking about service and service opportunities in North American. The MNA stands for Mission to North America and the disaster response director, Arklie Hooten thought the Warner's move to Bay St. Louis and their service to the work at Lagniappe might be inspirational to others who might consider using their retirement years in service to the Kingdom.

Orlando Sentinel article about Richard & Barbara Warner

On Wednesday, August 30th 2006, just around the Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the Orlando Sentinel came to LPC to do a story on relief work. What they found was a pleasant surprize- Richard and Barbara Warner, Florida residents who were moving to the Bay to be part of the restoration with Lagniappe. It is a great article and a great encouragement that people have not forgotten!

Weather Channel features Lagniappe Church

On June 5th 2007 the Weather Channel premiered a feature story which included segments about Bay Saint Louis and Lagniappe. Ominously enough they ran the story in June because it was the start of Hurricane Season. They took lots of footage and it was great. Thanks to Michelle Birnbaum, the WC producer who came and did the story!
